Reindeer Feeding & Sami Storytelling

Step into a winter fairytale on our Reindeer Feeding Tour, where you’ll meet these gentle Arctic animals up close in their natural surroundings. We will hand out buckets of dried reindeer feed for guests and allow you to enter into the field where we have the reindeer to see these animals. The reindeer are friendly and many of them will come feed directly from your food bucket. Learn about reindeer life, traditions, and their special role in northern cultures as you help feed them their favorite treats.
After feeding the reindeer, we will enter into a replica of a traditional sami lavvo and gather around a fire. We will share some stories about the reindeer, Sami people, and answer any questions you may have. We will also serve a light & traditional sami reindeer soup (Bidos).
